Formula One rarely stands still, two teams launched their 2010 cars last week and the 3rd - Mercedes opted for a livery only presentation on Monday.

Tomorrow sees Renault and Sauber launch their respective vehicles ahead of the first group test in Valencia on Monday.

Brazil's TV Globo broadcaster reported that ex-Renault driver Nelson Piquet crashed out of the 2008 Singapore GP because he had been asked to by his team. Amid the silence from Renault and Piquet, F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone went on a media offensive as the sport's latest scandal erupted.

Spanish hero Fernando Alonso (ING Renault) gave a great show in the second practice session for the European GP on the streets of Valencia. Despite a clumsy skirmish with Nick Heidfeld, the two times World Champion reeled in some scintillating late laps to set the fastest time by half a second.
